FAQs
Which type of support is right for me?
How do I know which support to choose?
If you’re unsure where to start, this is something we can explore together - but here’s a simple guide to the support I offer:
A Clarity MOT is a one-off session designed to help you pause, take stock and gain perspective. It’s ideal if you’re feeling stuck or at a crossroads in life and want focused time to think things through and leave with a clear sense of direction.
Therapeutic coaching is more ongoing and supports you over time. It combines emotional insight with practical action, helping you understand what’s happening while taking meaningful steps forward. It’s particularly helpful for navigating mid-life changes, building confidence and making decisions about what comes next.
Relationship therapy offers a space to explore patterns, communication and connection within your relationship, whether you’re coming alone or as a couple.
If you’re still unsure which feels right, we can talk it through during a free introductory call and find the best support for you.
How does therapeutic coaching differ from therapy?
Therapeutic coaching and therapy both provide a supportive space to reflect on your experiences, but therapeutic coaching is more action-oriented with a stronger emphasis on taking practical steps forward.
Where therapy often focuses on understanding past experiences and deeper emotional patterns, therapeutic coaching helps you see the bigger picture, gain clarity and take purposeful action. It combines psychological insight with direction, helping you make considered choices in areas of your life that matter most - whether that’s your relationships, career, or life transitions.
In short, therapeutic coaching doesn’t just help you understand yourself better - it supports you in moving forward with clarity and momentum.
If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain or overwhelmed, therapeutic coaching enables you to take stock and begin to make the changes that will help you live life well.

Who do you typically work with?
I work with a wide range of people, each with their own unique challenges and goals. Many are mid-life professionals navigating career transitions, workplace pressures or struggles with confidence or questions about purpose. Others are experiencing the physical or emotional changes that come with menopause, or seeking relationship or marriage support to improve communication and reconnect with a partner.
My clients are diverse - across age, gender, culture and life experiences. I create a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can feel heard, understood and supported in taking positive steps forward.
Getting started
What happens after I arrange a free call?
After we’ve arranged a time for your free call, I’ll get in touch by video (Zoom) or phone for a 20-minute introductory chat. This is a chance for you to ask any questions about how I work and explore whether therapeutic coaching or therapy is the right support for you. It’s also an opportunity for me to understand your situation and how I can best help you.
Do you offer a one-off session so I can see how I feel?
Yes, this is exactly what the Clarity MOT is designed for. If you’re unsure about where to start, a 60- or 90-minute session gives you space to pause, reflect and gain clarity on what’s going on, with the support of someone impartial and experienced. For some, it’s a first step into ongoing therapeutic work; for others, one session is enough to reset and feel able to move forward.
What happens in the first session?
In your first session we’ll take time to consider your situation, discover any underlying issues and begin to develop perspective, balance and a sense of control. For therapeutic coaching, we’ll focus on finding clarity, priorities and ways of moving forward, while therapy may involve exploring deeper patterns to gain insight and emotional support.
My clients are diverse - across age, gender, culture and life experiences. I create a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can feel heard, understood and supported in taking positive steps forward.
How many sessions will I need?
This very much depends on your individual situation and therapeutic goals; I like to say that your support will continue for as long as it feels helpful and purposeful for you. I offer packages of up to 8 sessions for therapeutic coaching, but I will never tie you in financially if we feel you’re ready to continue without ongoing guidance.

I offer both online (Zoom) and in-person sessions in Sevenoaks, so you can choose the approach that feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
Therapeutic coaching and Clarity MOTs are available either online or in person, as these sessions involve specific tools that are best used in a more structured setting.
Relationship therapy can take place online, in person, by telephone or as walk and talk sessions for those who prefer to be outdoors in nature.
Can I use private medical insurance?
I’m not currently registered with private medical insurance providers, so sessions would need to be self-funded.
