Physical & emotional experiences of perimenopause and menopause can be challenging & debilitating. I can help you explore the sense of personal loss during midlife, as well as the opportunities it brings.

I am passionate about supporting women going through the perimenopause or menopause – be it an early menopause, surgical and/or in their 40’s or 50’s. We all have different experiences and that’s OK.

I have lived experience of peri menopause & menopause, so I get you. I can relate. I can empathise. I have been there in the last few years and last year (surgically) and still here, experiencing mid-life, both its challenges, opportunities & endless possibilities.

How I can support you?

With the increase in stressful life events, paired with the biological changes of perimenopause and menopause, we as women are likely to feel stressed, anxious & overwhelmed. It can be a real moment of reflection on the past, and what we want the future to hold for us.

I can help you focus on self-compassion & self-care during this time. It is a pivotal time in our mid-life where it is not uncommon to feel grief & loss – for our health & changes with our bodies, struggling with our identity, value & purpose, children leaving home for university or to setting up home themselves (’empty nest syndrome’, caring for aging parents, the death of parents, personal illness, divorce or separation, impact on our relationships, [and] loss of social or financial support and thinking about that last big career change or what we want or may not want from our professional jobs.

Having spent over 23 years myself in corporate HR life, I understand the challenges of a busy work life together with balancing other demands and pressures and how this can feel emotionally overpowering at times, particularly during your peri menopause & post menopause too.

I offer 4-6-8 & 12 sessional packages (60 minutes) for peri menopause & menopause therapeutic coaching.

How therapeutic coaching can help:

With the combination of my counselling, coaching & hypnotherapy skills, I help my clients to explore their current peri or post-menopausal experiences, situation, and problems, understand the impact on their own emotional health, relationships, self-confidence, self-esteem, sense of identity, purpose & professional career life.

I support in using the EMBERS® model, a Menopause-Informed Psychological Care framework aims to educate, validate, and empower women to implement strategies to regain control over their life, body, and mind during the menopausal transition and beyond. It’s a comprehensive therapeutic approach integrating an understanding of the physiological, emotional & psychological changes us ladies, experience during menopause, while also considering the broader context of your lives. This approach not only addresses symptoms but also considers factors such as physical & mental health status, relationships, work, & life stressors.

  • Recognise, explore & make sense of your perimenopause or menopausal symptoms
  • Explore the impact of your fluctuating hormones on your thoughts, feelings, emotions & behaviours
  • Improve your ability to handle the sense of conflicting emotions and your reactions to them

  • Rebuild your self-esteem & self-worth
  • Help you reclaim your identity, so you can re-connect with your strong resilient self
  • Explore living losses (grief) or past and/or current trauma – related to health, identity, professional life and/or relationships, showing up for you now in midlife, supporting you through the grieving & recovery process
  • Gain insight and self-understanding of any personal & professional lifestyle triggers– be they physical and/or emotional
  • Learn effective self-care tools, techniques  & strategies to live your best ‘midlife’ life
